Transaero Abolished the Fuel Surcharge on Flights to Israel, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Ukraine

Transaero Russian airline reported to have canceled the fuel surcharge on routes to Israel, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Ukraine. Fuel surcharges on domestic routes and on flights to Western European countries were lifted already in the fall of 2008.
The communique, issued on the company's official website, reads that the decision to abolish the fuel surcharges was caused by a dramatic decline in the price of aviation fuel.
After the abolition of the surcharge, the round tickets for Moscow-Tel Aviv flight will become 44 euros cheaper, for flights to Kazakhstan - around 26-44 euros, for flights to Uzbekistan - 76-86 euro, and to Ukraine - 26 euros cheaper.
On January 30th, the airline has reduced the price for business class tickets for a number of flights, including the route Moscow-Tel Aviv. The business class ticket on the route Moscow-Tel Aviv-Moscow, C fare now costs 1480 euro, JVIP fare - 1700 euros. The cost of a similar ticket on the route Tel Aviv-Moscow-Tel Aviv at the C fare is 1620 dollars, and the JVIP fare - 1820 dollars.
