Iran, Hamas defend wanted Sudanese president

A top Iranian official and a delegation of Hamas and other Palestinian terror groups are visiting Sudan to support Sudanese President Omar al-Bashir.
Iranian Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani said the International Criminal Court's arrest warrant for the Sudanese leader is an "insult."
Al-Bashir is wanted for war crimes and crimes against humanity in Darfur. Larijani spoke after landing Friday in Khartoum.
Larijani's visit follows a gathering in Teheran of Iranian officials, Hamas and their supporters seeking to boost the group in Gaza.
Dozens of al-Bashir supporters marched in downtown Khartoum after Friday prayers in support of the president. They are waving banners and shouting: "With out blood and soul, we defend you, al-Bashir."
