Suspicion in Kazakhstan: Sub-quality Weapons Bought

The government of Kazakhstan is concerned about a purchase by the Defense Ministry of a series of Israeli weapons, which turned out to be poor quality.
In connection with this, the Israeli citizen Boris Sheinkman has been recently detained in Almaty. Sheinkman was representing in Kazakhstan the interests of the four concerns of Israeli defense industry.
Kazakhstan authorities have started finding out facts about the deal. The type of weapons under investigation has not yet been disclosed.
