Hamas claims mortar attack on w. Negev

Hamas on Wednesday took responsibility for firing three mortar shells at the Sha'ar Hanegev region.
There were no reports of casualties or damage in the early morning attack.
Early Saturday morning, two Kassam rockets struck open areas in the Sha'ar Hanegev region. Nobody was wounded in the attack, and no damage was reported.
On Thursday evening, a Kassam rocket fired by Palestinian terrorists in the Gaza Strip landed in an open area in the Eshkol region. This rocket too, caused no casualties or damage.
On Friday morning, the Israeli Air Force struck smuggling tunnels along the Gaza-Egypt border in retaliation for Thursday's rocket attack. No Palestinians were hurt in the attack but both tunnels were destroyed.
