International Creative Project at Jewish School

An international youth project with participation of German students started at the Dnepropetrovsk Or Avner school.
It was initiated by the Munich institute of applied culture education famous for its programs in uniting young people of various nations and religions in theatre, dance and other artistic projects.
Among our German guests there are Jews and Christians, Moslems and Hindus, atheists. They’ll participate in a camp and learn about original culture of Jews in Ukraine.
Tim Biburger, head of the project, says, “To understand your own identity you have to understand other people. We’re very happy to meet your children and learn a lot from you. Joint creative work is a key to understanding and thus solving problems like Xenophobia, violence, drugs, first love and other crises so vital for each young person”.
German students together with our children and school administration prepared the program of the camp with an emphasis on joint theatrical work. All German guests are active participants of a theatrical program, and our TABOO theatre and creative potential of the Jewish school are of special interest to them.
