The 7th International Festival of Jewish Culture has opened in Birobidzhan.
02.10.2003 The 7th International festival of Jewish Culture has opened in Birobidzhan with an exhibition of Judaic art and books from the regional scientific library Sholom-Aleikhem, and the Jewish community Freid. The organizers have named the exhibition "Enter the Jewish World." The aim of the exhibition is to familiarize guests with antique and modern books that reflect the history and ethnography of the Jewish people.
Simultaneously, within the framework of the festival, the exhibition "Jewish Motives in the Works of our Painters" has opened in the regional art museum.
