The Director General of the Euro-Asian Jewish Congress (EAJC) Haim Ben-Yaakov has participated in the 15th Herzliya conference, titled “Israel in the Turbulent Middle East.”

The Herzliya conference is chiefly concerned with national security and strategic balance in the Middle East, and has been convening annually at theInstitute for Policy and Strategy at the Interdisciplinary Center in Herzliya since 2000. The conference gathers the Israeli political, economic, and military elite; foreign diplomats, political science scholars, journalists, leaders of Israeli and foreign analytical centers, academic institutions and community organizations. The Herzliya conference discusses the most pressing issues concerning the security and strategic development of both Israel as a state and the Jewish people all over the world.

Speakers this year included President of Israel Reuven Rivlin, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, and new ministers.
